Our cancellation terms are more flexible than those of third-party booking sites. For most bookings, we do not require one month’s notice.
If you have booked directly with Boardwalk Homes, you can simply email us for:
Cancelling or Shortening of Stay (by 50% or more of total stay)
Private Rooms and 1 to 2 Bedroom units
3 to 8 Bedrooms private units
Shortening of Stay (by less than 50% of your total)
If you are unable to adhere to the above cancellation requirements, a one-night rental (or 20% of the total rental, whichever is higher) will be charged.
For shortening of stay, any price adjustments, and applicable credit card transaction fees on the refunded amount (usually 3.5%) will be applied.
The pre-authorization on your credit card will be released on receipt of your cancellation notice.
During peak seasons, we reserve the right to request confirmation of your reservation at an earlier date. At that time, you may either confirm your stay or cancel without penalty. While we value your booking, we must minimize the risk of late cancellations that could affect other guests seeking accommodation. Once your reservation is confirmed, full payment will be charged and is non-refundable.
